TERMS OF SERVICE

OVERVIEW
This website and online store are operated by J&J Barber Supply Co LLC DBA Designer Barber Products.
Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Designer Barber Products,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to J&J Barber Supply Co LLC DBA Designer Barber Products.
These Terms of Service govern access to our website and the purchase of products or services from us through our website, Shopify, the Shop app, draft orders, invoices, telephone, email, text message, or any other sales channel.
By accessing our website, submitting an order, paying an invoice, or purchasing a product or service, the customer agrees to these Terms of Service and the policies incorporated into them.

Product-specific terms displayed on a product page, cart, checkout, invoice, sales order, or written quotation are also incorporated into the applicable purchase.
In the event of a conflict:
1. Applicable mandatory law controls;
2. Specific product or sales-order terms accepted by the customer control over general terms;
3. The Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy controls cancellation, return, and refund terms;
4. The Shipping Policy controls shipping and delivery procedures; and
5. These Terms of Service control all other matters.
ELIGIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
By placing an order, the customer represents that they:
1. Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
2. Are at least the age of majority in their state or jurisdiction;
3. Have authority to use the selected payment method; and
4. Have authority to place the order on behalf of any named business, barbershop, salon, organization, or other person.
A person placing an order on behalf of a business represents that they have authority to bind that business to these terms.
ONLINE STORE USE
Customers may not use our website, products, or services for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Customers must not transmit malware, harmful code, or other material intended to disrupt or interfere with our website, Shopify, payment systems, or related services.
We may refuse or terminate access to the website for misuse, fraud, abusive conduct, or violation of these terms.
ORDER REVIEW AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for reviewing the complete order before submitting payment.
Customers must verify:
1. Product;
2. Model;
3. Color or finish;
4. Quantity;
5. Price;
6. Discount;
7. Billing information;
8. Shipping address;
9. Delivery telephone number;
10. Delivery requirements; and
11. Whether another order for the same or similar merchandise has already been placed.
Customers must also review the order confirmation immediately after the order is submitted.
Each separate order number is an independent transaction.
J&J Barber Supply Co LLC is not required to identify a possible duplicate order, compare an order with an earlier order, combine separate orders, or determine whether multiple people associated with the same business placed similar orders.
An order is not automatically considered a duplicate because it contains the same product, quantity, delivery address, or business name.
This is especially true when orders are submitted under different names, email addresses, telephone numbers, billing addresses, payment methods, or customer accounts.
The customer must promptly notify us in writing after discovering an accidental order, duplicate order, incorrect quantity, incorrect product, or incorrect address.
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS
We may contact the customer by email, telephone, or text message regarding payment, fraud review, shipping address, delivery appointment, tracking information, product availability, or another order-related matter.
A customer’s confirmation of a shipping address, delivery telephone number, appointment, or tracking information does not cancel or modify the order and does not mean that we have reviewed the order for duplication, product selection, or quantity.
An order is canceled or modified only when J&J Barber Supply Co LLC confirms the cancellation or modification in writing.
The customer is responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and monitoring communications from us and the carrier.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE
An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order. It does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
We may review orders for inventory, payment authorization, pricing errors, shipping errors, suspected fraud, resale activity, product restrictions, or other legitimate business reasons.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order before shipment.
If we cancel an unshipped order for a reason not caused by the customer, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled merchandise as required by law.
PRICES, PRODUCT INFORMATION, AND ERRORS
Prices, promotions, product descriptions, availability, shipping rates, and delivery estimates may change without notice before an order is placed.
We make reasonable efforts to present accurate information, but typographical, photographic, technical, shipping-profile, software, inventory, pricing, or other errors may occur.
If we discover an apparent pricing or shipping error before shipment, we may:
1. Pause the order;
2. Contact the customer for approval of a corrected price or shipping charge;
3. Send a revised invoice; or
4. Cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
We will not charge an additional amount to a payment method without authorization.
A free, discounted, promotional, included, or $0 outbound shipping amount does not mean that J&J Barber Supply Co LLC incurred no shipping cost. For a customer-requested return after shipment, the actual outbound cost remains subject to the Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE AND SPECIFICATIONS
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors, finishes, dimensions, and images accurately.
Actual color or appearance may vary because of monitor settings, lighting, material variation, manufacturing variation, photography, or production changes.
Customers are responsible for reviewing dimensions and confirming that furniture and equipment will fit through entrances, hallways, elevators, and the intended installation area.
Minor variations that do not materially affect the product’s function are not necessarily defects.
PAYMENT
Customers agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.
The customer authorizes us and our payment providers to process the amount shown on the order or invoice.
Orders may be delayed or canceled if payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or identified as potentially fraudulent.
Financing, installment, or buy-now-pay-later transactions may also be governed by the financing provider’s separate terms.
TAXES
Applicable sales, use, excise, or other taxes may be collected based on the order, customer information, product, and destination.
The customer is responsible for providing valid exemption documentation before the order is completed when claiming a tax exemption.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
A cancellation is not effective until it has been approved and confirmed in writing by J&J Barber Supply Co LLC.
An eligible standard-stock order may be canceled without a cancellation fee if the request is received and approved before warehouse processing begins.
Warehouse processing includes inventory allocation, picking, inspection, preparation, packing, palletizing, strapping, labeling, carrier booking, and related work.
Once warehouse processing begins, an approved customer-requested cancellation of a barber-chair or freight order is subject to a 25% cancellation, restocking, and warehouse-handling fee and any applicable nonrefundable direct or carrier charges.
Once an order has been tendered to a carrier, it can no longer be canceled. Any request will be treated as a return, intercept, recall, reconsignment, or return-to-sender request.
Complete terms are stated in our Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Eligible returns require prior written authorization and must comply with our Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy.
Approved customer-requested barber-chair and freight returns are subject to:
1. A 25% restocking and warehouse-handling fee;
2. The actual outbound shipping or freight cost;
3. Return shipping or freight;
4. Carrier recall, intercept, reconsignment, storage, redelivery, and other accessorial charges; and
5. Applicable damage, missing-part, packaging, or reduced-value deductions.
These terms apply even if checkout displayed free shipping, included shipping, discounted shipping, promotional shipping, or a $0 shipping charge.
The customer may be required to prepay estimated return or recall costs before we arrange a customer-requested freight return.
SHIPPING AND FREIGHT
Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping, Freight, and Delivery Policy.
The customer is responsible for supplying an accurate shipping address, telephone number, and delivery-access information.
Customer-requested address changes, reconsignments, storage, redelivery, missed appointments, returns, or special services may result in additional carrier charges.
Delivery and transit dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
FREIGHT DELIVERY AND INSPECTION
Customers must inspect freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt.
Visible damage or shortages must be described specifically on the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
Customers should photograph the shipment, packaging, pallet, straps, merchandise, and delivery documents.
Damage, defects, shortages, or incorrect merchandise should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours after delivery.
Customers must retain original packaging and cooperate with reasonable carrier or manufacturer claim requirements.
REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED DELIVERIES
A shipment refused or returned for a reason within the customer’s control is treated as a customer-requested return.
The customer remains responsible for the 25% restocking fee, actual outbound freight, return freight, storage, redelivery, reconsignment, and other carrier charges.
A properly documented refusal because of verified visible transit damage will be handled as a damage claim rather than a customer-requested return.
CUSTOM, SPECIAL-ORDER, AND RESTORATION PROJECTS
Custom, personalized, restored, made-to-order, modified, special-order, and nonstandard merchandise is final sale and is not eligible for cancellation or return except where required by law or when confirmed defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
Customization, manufacturing, restoration, or procurement may begin after the required deposit or payment is received.
Additional costs may apply when customer-supplied merchandise has broken, missing, damaged, or unsuitable parts or when the customer requests changes to the agreed scope of work.
The customer must pay the balance due before completed custom or restoration work is released, picked up, or delivered.
Storage charges may apply when completed merchandise is not collected or accepted within a reasonable period after written notice.
INSTALLATION AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Unless expressly included in writing, product pricing and freight delivery do not include assembly, installation, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, permits, code compliance, or removal of existing equipment.
The customer is responsible for hiring qualified professionals and confirming that the installation location, utilities, flooring, structure, and local requirements are suitable.
J&J Barber Supply Co LLC is not responsible for damage caused by improper assembly, installation, plumbing, electrical work, modification, misuse, neglect, or service performed by third parties.
WARRANTIES
Products may be covered by a manufacturer’s written warranty or a separate written warranty from J&J Barber Supply Co LLC.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, claim procedures, and remedies are governed by the applicable written warranty.
Except as prohibited by law, damage caused by misuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modification, accidents, commercial abuse, or ordinary wear is not covered.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
THIRD-PARTY CARRIERS AND SERVICES
We may use parcel carriers, freight carriers, freight brokers, payment providers, financing companies, software providers, and other third parties.
Those services may be governed by separate third-party terms.
We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or omissions to the extent permitted by law, but we may assist with a properly documented claim.
CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers are encouraged to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
A chargeback does not constitute a cancellation, return authorization, or return of merchandise.
The customer remains responsible for amounts validly due under the order and applicable policies to the extent permitted by law.
We may submit relevant documentation to the payment provider, including the order, policy disclosures, product-page terms, communications, tracking information, carrier records, delivery confirmation, and photographs.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable payment-dispute right.
PROHIBITED USES
Customers may not use our website or services:
1. For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
2. To submit false or misleading information;
3. To impersonate another person;
4. To infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
5. To distribute malware or harmful code;
6. To interfere with website security;
7. To scrape or collect information unlawfully; or
8. To harass, threaten, or abuse our employees, contractors, customers, or service providers.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of this section.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Website content, product photography, logos, text, designs, custom artwork, drawings, renderings, and other materials are owned by or licensed to J&J Barber Supply Co LLC.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially used, or submitted to another manufacturer without written authorization.
Custom drawings and designs remain our property unless a written agreement states otherwise.
PRIVACY
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Electronic communications may be retained as part of the order and customer-service records.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS
Our website may include third-party links, payment options, financing tools, social-media features, or other services.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, policies, security, or availability.
Customers should review the applicable third-party terms before using those services.
DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, J&J Barber Supply Co LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, loss of use, lost appointments, installation delays, or third-party labor costs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from an affected product or order will not exceed the amount the customer paid for that affected product.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, certain personal injuries, or other non-waivable statutory rights.
FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delay or nonperformance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, transportation interruption, carrier congestion, labor dispute, governmental action, epidemic, pandemic, supply-chain interruption, utility failure, cyber incident, or shortage of labor or materials.
We will comply with applicable legal obligations concerning delayed or unshipped orders.
INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless J&J Barber Supply Co LLC and its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims arising from:
1. The customer’s unlawful use of our website or products;
2. The customer’s breach of these terms;
3. Improper installation or modification;
4. The customer’s violation of another person’s rights; or
5. False or inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
SEVERABILITY
If a provision of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
WAIVER
A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
A waiver granted in one matter does not constitute a waiver in another matter.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms of Service, the incorporated policies, accepted product-specific terms, and any applicable written sales order constitute the agreement between the customer and J&J Barber Supply Co LLC concerning the applicable transaction.
They supersede prior discussions concerning that transaction, except for a separate written agreement signed or expressly approved by an authorized representative of J&J Barber Supply Co LLC.
GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
To the extent permitted by law, these terms and transactions with J&J Barber Supply Co LLC are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in San Bernardino County, California.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of a non-waivable protection, remedy, or venue right available under applicable law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.
The terms in effect when an order is placed will ordinarily govern that order.
Changes apply prospectively to future orders unless applicable law requires otherwise.
